I want to share my Taiwan IVF journey to be an inspiration to others who are longing to have a baby.
We were married for 15 years, and I was then 42 years old when we went to Taiwan for IVF procedure (December 2014). With my advance age, I carried with me a little hope in my heart. My husband and I both agreed that it will be our last try after our failed IVF in Dubai. Not only because the procedure is expensive, but it’s also emotionally stressful.
I’ve learned Mackay Memorial Hospital from our Cardiologist in the Philippines (Dr. Cheng) who had the same treatment in Mackay.  After that, I’ve started reading blogs about MMH which are all positive so we’ve decided to have it done in MMH.
We never had any difficulties arranging documents flying from Dubai to Taiwan. Annie Hsu of MMH International Medical Service Center guided us and gave us all the information that we need including Hotel Bookings.　
Words are not enough to express our gratitude to Dr. Lee who is very professional and to his accommodating staff for their support during the procedure and we’re very thankful to them for being the instrument of God.
IVF procedure is not a painful procedure. The key is to rest during and after the procedure, plus your faith in God.
Taiwan in general is very nice and relaxing place especially during winter season. Although it is difficult to communicate in English, but people are very warm and kind. We love the food and Taiwan culture.
Now I am a mother of 6 months healthy baby girl, and all the sacrifices and hardships are all worth it. I feel complete as a woman and I have the reason to wake up in the morning with a smile in my face to see my baby growing.
Just keep on believing, keep on praying and surely God will hear and will grant your request in His perfect time.

嗨! 我想跟大家分享我來台灣做IVF的旅程，藉此鼓勵其他希望有自己小孩的夫妻。
來台做IVF時(2014年12月)，我和先生結婚15年，當時我42歲。年紀已大，所以並沒有太大的期望。我們先前在杜拜已做過一次IVF，但失敗了。我和先生決定這將是我們最後一次嘗試IVF，因為不但醫療費用很高，心理壓力也很大。
我是從菲律賓的心臟科醫師(鄭醫師)聽到有關馬偕的，鄭醫師也是在馬偕醫院做了不孕症治療。之後，我就開始搜尋有關馬偕醫院的部落格，讀到的評價都非常正面，所以我們決定到馬偕做治療。
我們從杜拜到台灣治療的過程都非常順利，馬偕醫院國際醫療中心的Annie給我們清楚的指示，也提供我們需要的一切資訊，包括幫我們預訂飯店。
言語無法形容我們對李醫師和生殖醫學團隊的感激，在治療過程中，他們提供了各方面的協助也大力的支持我們，我們很感謝上帝使用他們成為我們的幫助。
IVF療程並不會很痛。重點是過程中和療程後要多多休息，並對上帝持有信心。
台灣是一個非常好的地方，讓人很放鬆，尤其是冬天的時候。雖然用英語溝通不是很順暢，但台灣人都非常的溫暖善良，我們很喜歡台灣的食物和文化。
現在我女兒已經6個月大，並且非常健康。先前為了生她所遭遇的一切困難和所做的犧牲都很值得。我感覺現在的生命是圓滿的，每天早上我都帶著微笑起床並期待著孩子的成長。
